starting to tear it down....

So I took off the tank, pipes, carbs, fenders and pulled the wire harness (which was fried in the fire).  Removed the chain and put it on my 82 CB750 because it still had some life in it.  Next I am going to try to take the motor right out and try to get the frame taken down to where I can get it powder coated.  I thought about doing it yellow because it would look ridiculous but I am going to go with black.  That way if I decide to do a different color it won't look awful.  I haven't decided if I like the Omar's stuff yet.  The graphics and glass are nice but I think I want something that is more my own.  I am not dissing on their kits but I don't want to build a bike that I will see a copy of.  It has been hard to find time to wrench.  I've been travelling a lot.  Here is a pic of me and my friends mcs when we went camping.  I have the 1982 Honda CB750 and he has a 78 BMW 80/7.  We took them down to the southern tier on a nice ride and my fiance followed us in the car with the doggies.  I just recently purchased an old Windjammer and a set of hard bags for it.  It has a tape player in it!!  I have never had a motorcycle with a radio.
